Four years ago, I was speaking with a VC friend that told me about one of his portfolio companies that had utilized military technology to create a Bluetooth headset that would virtually eliminate background (or ambient) noise from a wireless call.
Naturally, this sounded rather futuristic and far fetched.
About 3 months ago, I received a Jawbone Headset in the mail. After pairing it with my BlackBerry, I jumped right into my M3 Convertable ... top down, stereo cranked, I accelerated to 60 MPH on PCH and was ready to road test the Jawbone.
When I told the other parties of the hostle "noisy" environment from which I was calling, they were astonished! Initially, I was not able to hear conversation very well until I traded out earbuds and the ear loop to adjust the fit (4 earbud and 4 earloops are included).
With California poised to join the states that require hands-free calling when driving, I must say I am thrilled the Jawbone has been released in time!

are you still enjoying the Jawbone? does it work well with the Blackberry? i got a Blackberry 8830 today and I am looking for a good Bluetooth headset.
The Jawbone is great. In fact, REGARD recently launched a web store to sell the product at http://www.regard.com/Pages/Purchase.aspx
The sound is spectacular in fact. Callers comment on it. It works perfectly with my Razr and BlackBerry. The design is slick but with a major flaw. The ear loops are overdesigned. They look cool but they not tight and the thing dangles on your ear. It's fine sitting still, but if you have long conference calls and need to get up and do things you have to be careful that it doesn't flap around. I've tried all the loops and earbuds. It flaps. The floppy, big ear loop makes carrying it and using it out of a briefcase awkward too.
I love my jawbone bluetooth head set, it's one of the finest products I have ever bought! It works great, the sound quality is amazing, and its extremely comfortable. I found a great deal on one at http://www.BuyJawboneBluetooth.com
It is certainly interesting for me to read this post. Thank you for it. I like such themes and everything that is connected to them. I would like to read a bit more on that blog soon.
